I’m thrilled to introduce my latest design collection, Fight for Love! At the heart of this collection is a powerful black fist, a symbol of strength and unity. The bold lines of the fist are layered with vibrant bands of red, yellow, and green—colors that amplify the message of solidarity and hope. Integrated into the fist are the words “Fight for Love,” with “Fight” in red, “For” in yellow, and “Love” in green. This design reinforces the idea that love is a cause worth standing up for.
Inside the fist, I’ve woven a subtle sankofa heart motif. This isn’t just a decorative touch; it reflects the resilience and compassion that remind us to look back and learn from the history of those who fought for humanity’s rights. This isn’t a battle against one another; it’s a collective effort to prioritize love over division.
The inspiration behind Fight for Love comes from the constant barrage of messages urging us to engage in various conflicts—political, social, and personal. I wanted to shift that narrative and propose a fight that unites us instead of tearing us apart. Love is the force that can bridge differences, heal wounds, and build communities.
